Published as an extension of the artist, author and illustrator Clément de Gaulejac research residency at the Grantham Foundation in 2021, this book analyzes and questions ways of illustrating current ecological issues, as much through illustration and language. The essay, supported by some twenty drawings by the author, is part of the mission of the Grantham Foundation, which supports artistic productions and research on art that measure up to environmental challenges in the Anthropocene era.

The texts and illustrations of the artist, author are accompanied by an Avant-propos by Emmanuelle Choquette, a bibliography and a biography.
