From October 1, 2025, to December 4, 2025, at 8:30 p.m.

Plein sud's 40th anniversary is being celebrated with an artwork fundraising draw to benefit its exhibition, publishing, and educational activities. Eleven unique works, donated by artists connected to the center's history, are being put up for prize. Each will be the subject of a separate draw, giving 11 participants the chance to win a work of art.

Tickets, priced at $40 each, are on sale on this page from October 9 to December 4, 2025, inclusive. Only 100 tickets are available per work.

The draws will take place on Thursday, December 4, at 8:30 p.m., at the Plein Sud center, during the 40th anniversary Celebration Night (free entrance).

It is not necessary to be present: winners who are absent during the draws will be contacted the following day.

The total value of the prizes is estimated at $30,920.

  • All tickets are sold at a fixed price of $40 each and provide one entry per draw.
  • The odds of winning are 1 in 100 for each artwork if all tickets are sold. If fewer tickets are sold for a given artwork, the odds improve proportionally (1 in the total number of tickets sold for that artwork).
  • All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.

Ticket sales

Tickets are distributed exclusively by Plein sud and can be purchased from its staff, representatives, or through Plein sud’s secure online store (https://plein-sud.org). Ticket sales begin on October 1, 2025, and end on December 4, 2025, at 8:30 p.m., or earlier if tickets sell out.

The draws will take place at Plein sud, contemporary art exhibition center, on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 8:30 p.m., as part of the 40th anniversary Celebration Night, in the presence of witnesses. A separate draw will be held for each of the 11 artworks, starting with the piece of the highest value, following the order announced in these rules. Any ticket deemed ineligible will be immediately discarded and replaced by another draw for the same artwork.
