Catherine Plaisance - Traversée

The exhibition Traversée by Catherine Plaisance was presented at Plein sud from November 29, 2014 to February 7, 2015. The text "Fabricating Events" (translated form French by Donald McGrath) presents a review of the production of Catherine Plaisance by Vincent Lavoie, professor in the Department of Art History of the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). Vincent Lavoie is the author of numerous publications, including Photojournalismes : Revoir les canons de l’image de presse, published by Éditions Hazan (Paris, 2010), and a thematic issue of the CV Ciel variable magazine under the title "Forensic / Forensics" (no. 93, winter 2013) on the intersections of art and crime detection.
