Contrary to a current widespread artistic practice of collecting various objects in order to divert them from their original meaning, Dinan-Mitchell chooses to connect them by a plot that, although arbitrary, will give them meaning. Objects that have little in common are transformed, acquiring a harmony that will also confer an aesthetic value to the entire exhibition. This tour de force requires taste, which the artist does not miss. It fully assumes the aesthetic or feminine connotation that can be associated with its work. Rather than criticizing these various stereotypes, she particularly likes to offer us particularly captivating thematic spaces.
